New Bathtub Concept Unveiled: Three New Models Including an Organic Flagship Design

JAXSON Corp. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yuji Suzuki), developer of the JAXSON brand, unveiled a new concept for its latest bathtub collection on December 9, 2025, during its annual brand collaboration Christmas event.

The presentation introduced concepts for a total of three new models: a flagship model that embodies the brand’s identity, along with two additional models designed to complement everyday bathing experiences. All three concepts were created by Hideo Shimizu, founder and designer of JAXSON.

The official product launch is scheduled for June 2026, with deliveries expected to begin in September 2026.

All of the newly announced designs are positioned as concept models, representing significant proposals that point to the future direction of JAXSON.

The flagship model is a freestanding bathtub distinguished by organic curves. Moving beyond the long-pursued balance between straight lines and arcs that has defined JAXSON’s design language, this new organic form融合s the gentleness and strength found in nature. Its calm yet commanding presence embodies a new sculptural philosophy for the brand.

Also introduced are two additional models that pursue an ideal balance between practical functionality and refined design, offering thoughtful solutions for everyday bathing experiences.

Fava

The flagship model, Fava, is a freestanding bathtub distinguished by its organic curves. Evolving beyond JAXSON’s long-standing pursuit of harmony between straight lines and arcs, Fava embraces an organic design that融合s the gentleness and strength found in natural forms.

Its soft, flowing lines are inspired by the bean-like shape of the fava bean, giving rise to an organic proportion that evokes a sense of vitality and new life. The 1800 mm symmetrical design offers generous comfort—ideal for relaxing alone, yet equally accommodating for two.

Convivio

Convivio, derived from the Italian word meaning to spend time together, to converse, and to gather, is a concept bathtub that gives form to its very name. Its four-directional, face-to-face layout creates an intimate sense of closeness, while the circular form offers an open and embracing spatial experience.

The seamless shape, realized through one-piece acrylic molding, is integrated with four sculpted steps to support natural posture and exceptional comfort. Designed to accommodate multiple bathers at once, Convivio allows each person to relax while gently sensing the presence of others.

It brings moments of conversation and repose into graceful balance, drawing an extraordinary shared experience at the very heart of the space.

Portico

Portico is a model defined by a hybrid design that merges circular and square forms, achieving a refined balance between architectural rationality and a gently enveloping sense of comfort.

Its name is inspired by the historic porticoes of Bologna, Italy—a continuous sequence of arches that has sheltered and protected people since ancient times—symbolizing JAXSON’s enduring pursuit of the harmony between function and beauty.

Featuring a generously proportioned step for half-body bathing, Portico also allows for the installation of a headrest on the full-body bathing side. Thoughtfully designed with ease of installation in mind when incorporated into JAXSON’s full-order system bath, this model unites exceptional comfort with sculptural elegance.
