Announcement of the Launch of Lighting Brand Firmamento Milano

On March 23, 2023, JAXSON Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hideo Shimizu; hereinafter "the Company") began sales of products from the Italian design lighting brand Firmamento Milano, based in Milan, as the brand’s exclusive distributor in Japan.

■ Encounter with Firmamento Milano

Located at Via Privata Battista de Rolandi 14, in the Certosa district of Milano, is the showroom of Firmamento Milano as well as our own HIDEO Milano Studio.

In 2022, it was here that the brand’s founder, Mr. Carlo Guglielmi, and our president, Hideo Shimizu, first met. Their shared values and mutual respect for each other’s long-standing journeys have since forged a strong connection between us.

Named after the expansive Milanese sky, Firmamento Milano is a lighting collection born from a unique design philosophy, created by Mr. Guglielmi and other renowned architects and designers. United by a shared vision for the future and innovation, we proudly launched the brand in the Japanese market in 2023.

In 2022, it was here that Mr. Carlo Guglielmi, founder of Firmamento Milano, met with our president, Hideo Shimizu. Deeply resonating with one another’s lifelong journeys and philosophies, the encounter marked the beginning of a meaningful partnership.

Firmamento Milano, meaning “the Milanese sky,” is a lighting brand characterized by a unique and forward-thinking philosophy. Its collections are created by Mr. Guglielmi and a group of renowned architects and designers. Sharing a vision focused on the future and innovation, we proudly launched the brand in the Japanese market in 2023.
